Sadhguru's Warning: Avoid Foods That Increase the Risk of Cancer and Other Diseases

Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has shared an important health tip: he never consumes canned or bottled food products. According to him, these foods can be harmful to the body and may lead to serious health issues, including cancer, diabetes, and heart diseases.

Why Packaged Foods Are Harmful According to Sadhguru:

  1. Risk of BPA: Canned and packaged foods often contain a harmful chemical called BPA (Bisphenol A). Studies have shown that 90% of canned foods contain this chemical. Consuming such foods regularly can lead to an increased risk of cancer, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and erectile dysfunction.

  2. High Sodium Levels: Packaged foods tend to contain high levels of sodium, which is a major contributor to high blood pressure. This can, in turn, increase the risk of heart diseases.

  3. High LDL Cholesterol: Canned and bottled foods may contain unhealthy saturated fats that raise LDL (bad) cholesterol levels. This can lead to plaque build-up in arteries, which is a risk factor for heart diseases.

  4. Diabetes: Many packaged foods and drinks contain artificial sweeteners, which quickly dissolve into the bloodstream and spike blood sugar levels. Long-term consumption can increase the risk of developing diabetes.

Sadhguru emphasizes that while it's okay to consume canned or bottled food on rare occasions, it's important not to make it a regular part of your diet. For maintaining good health, it's better to focus on fresh, unprocessed food.
