Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun has been arrested. A case was registered against the film's actor Allu Arjun and others in connection with the death of a woman due to suffocation in a cinema hall in Hyderabad during the premiere show of the film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. Police have arrested him in this case. According to the police, the victim has been identified as 35-year-old Revathi. Along with the woman, her 13-year-old son also suffered from suffocation and is being treated in the hospital. Police said that the woman's son has been kept under observation for 48 hours. The incident took place on Wednesday. Police said that based on the complaint of the deceased's family, a case has been registered against the actor, his security team and the cinema management under sections 105 and 118 (1) of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) at Chikkadpally police station.

According to the statement given by the police, Allu Arjun reached the theater with his personal security personnel at around 9.30 pm. When hundreds of people thronged the premises to get a glimpse of him, his security team started pushing the crowd, which worsened the situation. The actor and his security team entered the lower balcony area of the theater with the crowd. In this, Revathi and her son felt suffocated. Police personnel pulled them out of the people and gave CPR to her son and immediately rushed him to the nearby Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital. Later the doctor said that the woman died and the son was advised to be taken to another hospital for better treatment.
The woman's son Teja is said to be in critical condition and is undergoing treatment. The woman's family, who lives in Dilsukhnagar, has demanded accountability from the theater management and has sought an answer from the actor on the incident. They have also demanded that Allu Arjun provide them assistance. Police said a case was registered under various provisions of the Indian Justice Code based on the complaint by the woman's family.
