Siddharth Criticizes 'Pushpa 2' Promotion, Mika Singh Makes Fun of His Comments
Actor Siddharth recently made controversial comments regarding the promotional event of Pushpa 2: The Rule in Bihar. When asked about the event, Siddharth referred to it as a mere tactic to gather a crowd. He said, "It's all marketing. Honestly, gathering a crowd in our country is not difficult. For instance, if you bring four JCB machines to a construction site, people will gather just to watch. The team booked a field and held an event. People showed up. That's it. A crowd doesn't necessarily represent quality."
Siddharth further compared the promotional strategy to political rallies, stating that a large crowd doesn't necessarily indicate genuine interest or success. He said, "In India, every political party can gather a huge crowd at their meetings, but that doesn’t mean they win every election." He even joked, "In my time, we used to call such crowds 'biryani and quarter bottle' crowds."
Singer Mika Singh reacted sharply to Siddharth's comments, mocking the actor on social media. Mika posted, "Hello Siddharth, thanks to your comment, now people are starting to know your name a little. Until now, I didn't even know what you do." This post added fuel to the controversy, as Siddharth's comments sparked a wider debate about film promotions and marketing tactics.
