Sikandar Ka Muqaddar Review: Producer director Neeraj Pandey is known for his thriller films in Hindi cinema, although his last film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha was a romantic film, but with Sikandar Ka Muqaddar he has returned to the thriller genre, which is his specialty and once again he has created an engaging thriller drama on the cinema screen. In which both the actors of the film Jimmy and Avinash support him well.

The story is about diamond theft. The story of the film begins in 2009. A jewelry exhibition is going on. Suddenly a man informs the policeman present there on the phone that four attackers have entered with the intention of looting the jewelry exhibition. Before the police could understand anything, the four attackers attack, but the police also show intelligence and kill them, but it is found that diamonds worth 60 crores have been stolen. Mumbai's most famous detection officer Jaswinder (Jimmy Shergill) is called. During investigation, three accused emerge – store manager Mangesh (Rajeev Mehta), Kamini (Tamannaah Bhatia) who works in the store, and computer expert Sikandar (Avinash). During interrogation, Jaswinder's instinct believes Sikandar to be a thief, but Sikandar calls himself innocent. The court also declares everyone innocent, but Jaswinder is not ready to accept it. Jaswinder tries in every way to make Sikandar accept his crime. From beating him at the police station to his job and house after being released on bail, he has snatched everything from him. Sikandar tells Jaswinder that one day he will accept her as innocent and apologize to her. All this is happening in a time frame of 15 years. Jaswinder has also lost a lot in this time period. One day Jaswinder calls Sikandar to apologize. Was Jaswinder's instinct really wrong, then who stole the diamonds worth 60 lakhs? The film answers all these questions in the last 30 minutes.

Sikandar ka muqaddar
Film's merits and demerits

This two and a half hour long film starts with the theft of diamonds. The story moves forward at a fast pace but then it starts to sink. The film starts moving between the future and the past. Two stories run simultaneously. One is the struggle of an innocent and the other is the instinct of the police. The film keeps you engaged, but its end does not surprise you. Many questions also arise that Tamanna's character hides the small diamond in her nail, but how did she hide it at that time. The background music of the film increases the thrill. The flaws are the songs, which disrupt the pace of this thriller. Along with this, the female characters have been ignored in the film. Zoya Afroz, Riddhima Pandit and Divya Dutta did not have much to do. Tamanna's character has screen time but no depth. The rest of the aspects are in accordance with the story.

Avinash and Jimmy are amazing

Talking about acting, this film belongs to Avinash and Jimmy Shergill, who are after each other like thieves and police. Both have made this film more interesting with their acting. Tamanna has supported them well, although her character lacks depth. There was nothing much for Rajiv Mehta to do in the film. The rest of the characters also do justice to the limited space given in the story.
