According to Yonhap News, this accident happened due to the plane coming in contact with a bird. After hitting the bird, the landing gear of the plane malfunctioned, due to which the plane slipped during landing and collided with the fence.

Earlier on 25 December, an Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashed near Aktau Airport in Kazakhstan. According to Azerbaijan Airlines, there were 62 passengers and 5 crew members in the plane.
