Many types of beneficial and welfare schemes are being run by the government in our country. If you are also eligible for any scheme, then you can get benefits by joining that scheme. For example, there is a scheme Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana which is being run by the central government and at present a large number of people are getting benefited by joining this scheme. Under this scheme, the government provides gas cylinders to the beneficiaries for free. If you are also eligible for this scheme, then you can get benefited by applying. Who can join the scheme?

Men do not get the benefit of PM Ujjwala Yojana. Under this scheme, only women can avail the benefit of free gas cylinder and that too those women who are living below the poverty line. Women who have BPL card can apply and join the scheme and avail the benefits.
The age of the applicant woman should be more than 18 years.
The bank account must be linked to the Aadhar card.

This is how you can join the scheme:-
First Step
If you also want to join PM Ujjwala Yojana, then first go to the official website of the scheme https://pmuy.gov.in/
Then click on the option of 'Apply For New Ujjwala 2.0 Connection' given here
After this a new page will open in front of you and many options will come

Second Step
Now you will get a link to get cylinders from different gas companies
In such a situation, click on the box in front of the company whose cylinder you want to take
Then again a new page will open where you have to fill the name of the applicant, distributor's name, address, mobile number

Third Step
After this, fill your PIN number here too
Now after filling the form you have to upload your documents
Here some documents will be asked from you, upload them here
Then finally you have to click on the 'Apply' button after which your application is completed and if everything is found correct, you are given the benefit of free gas cylinder.
