TTE cannot check your ticket after 10 pm

Often many times passengers complain that TTE wakes them up at night to check the ticket. This disturbs their sleep. In view of this problem of passengers, Indian Railways has made a special rule.

Under this rule, TTE cannot check tickets between 10 pm and 6 am. However, this rule does not apply to those passengers who are traveling in the train after 10 pm, TTE has permission to check the tickets of those people.

Listening to songs or watching videos on mobile without earphones after 10 pm
If you listen to songs or watch videos on mobile without earphones after 10 pm while traveling in a train, then it can cause inconvenience to the passengers traveling with you.

Apart from this, you cannot talk in a loud voice at night. If a fellow passenger files a complaint for doing this, then action can be taken against you.
