Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi has strongly opposed the hoardings put up by the saints in the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela of UP. Maulana has said that Kumbh Mela is a religious holy fair, doing politics here will be against the sanctity of this fair. Maulana has demanded from the Akhada Parishads who reach the fair as well as the state government to ban those who say such things. At the same time, he said that all the land in the Waqf Board is given by Muslims. No Hindu has given any land.

Actually, Jagatguru Ramanandacharya has put up hoardings in Prayagraj Kumbh Mela. On which it is written that there is looting of property in the name of Waqf. What kind of exemption is this in a secular country. Apart from this, Jagatguru Ramanandacharya had put up another hoarding before this. If you get scared, we will kill you. Like hoardings were put up which were discussed a lot in the whole country. Now Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi from Bareilly has protested and said that Kumbh Mela is a very holy fair and place of Hindu religion. It is the responsibility of all the saints and Akhada Parishads to not make Kumbh Mela a fair of Hindu-Muslim arena. But all the saints have made Kumbh Mela such an arena that all the problems will be solved in this fair.

Maulana has further said that the Waqf Board was formed to help helpless widows. All the land in the Waqf Board is given by Muslims. No Hindu has given any land and this board is controlled by the government, similarly Sanatan Board should be formed, I support it. It is very important to form Sanatan Board to monitor the land and properties in temples and monasteries. Maulana has said that saints and sages are currently the enemies of Hindu Muslim unity. They want to divide the country in the name of Hindus and Muslims, which will never happen. I request the government to take strict action against those who incite violence and talk of dividing the society.
