The government is giving one-day license for liquor party

Restaurants, hotels, resorts and farm houses are being booked for the party on the night of December 31. Along with this, there is also talk of serving alcohol in these parties organized for the celebration of New Year. Along with this, the staff of the Excise Department has also become active. The hotels, restaurants, farm houses and resorts where bookings are being made for liquor parties for the New Year, such places are being identified by the Excise Department. The organizers here are being told that if they want to organize a liquor party, then they must obtain a one-day casual license from the Excise Department. If a liquor party is organized anywhere without a license, then strict action will be taken against the organizers as well as those who consume alcohol in the parties.

The fees are different for home, garden and hotel-restaurant

A one-day casual license is being given by the Excise Department for serving and consuming alcohol officially in any celebration party. By taking this license, liquor parties can be organized at the designated places in the stipulated period. You can get the license by depositing the prescribed fee online. The license fee for home is fixed at Rs 2 thousand. At the same time, the license fee for the garden has been kept at 5 thousand and for hotel-restaurant the fee is 10 thousand rupees.

Assistant Excise Commissioner Rakesh Kurmi said that those who are planning a liquor party on the night of 31 December in their restaurant, hotel, resort, farm house or home, they will have to take a contingency license from the department. If liquor is served anywhere without a license, our teams will take action. Kurmi said that the process of applying for the license is very easy. It is completed in just five minutes by visiting any online center. On paying the fee, a one-day liquor license is generated and received.
