Last night before sleeping, they had lit a brazier in the room and after that they had closed the room. This morning when the son went to the room to give tea, the door did not open. When the son pushed the door and opened, the bodies of both the mother and father were lying there.

The husband and wife were cremated together. Kesaripur police station said that the initial investigation revealed that the husband and wife died due to suffocation from the smoke of the brazier. Son Amarveer told the police that both the parents were laborers. They returned home late last evening. After having dinner, both of them went to sleep in their room. Amarveer and his wife were living in the remaining three rooms of the house, Amarveer's second brother in one room and Amarveer's two sisters in another room. When the news of the parents' death came to light in the morning, there was chaos in the house. The entire village gathered at Amarveer's house. After noon, the last rites of both were performed together. This is the third case of death due to suffocation from the brazier in Rajasthan these days.
