Viral news: DSP took the complainant woman to the bathroom, made her do oral sex by pressing her breasts: First suspended, then arrested after the video went viral

A case of sexual abuse of a complainant woman by a Deputy SP has come to light in Tumkuru district of Karnataka. The name of the accused DSP is B Ramachandrappa, who has been arrested after being suspended on Friday (3 January 2025). The DSP did this act in the bathroom of his office. The video of this act of the police officer is also going viral on social media since Thursday (2 January 2025).
According to media reports, this case is of Madhugiri sub division of Tumkuru district. A 35-second video has gone viral on social media here on Friday. In this video, a police officer took a girl to the bathroom. Here he made the victim do oral sex by pressing her breasts. This video was made by hiding from outside. When the police officer got suspicious, he turned back and looked. By then the person making the video had fled. This video went viral in no time.
During the investigation of the viral video, the policeman was identified as 58-year-old Deputy SP B Ramachandrappa. The accused DSP is posted in Madhugiri area which is the assembly constituency of Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara. The matter was investigated in a hurry and the Deputy SP was suspended. An FIR was registered against B Ramachandrappa under sections 68, 75 and 79 of the Indian Penal Code (BNS) and he was sent to jail on Saturday (December 4).
A departmental inquiry has also been opened against the accused DSP. According to Tumkuru district Superintendent of Police Ashok KV, further action will be decided on the basis of the facts revealed in the investigation. According to the information received, the 30-year-old victim had gone to DSP Ramachandrappa to complain about a land dispute on the day of the incident. Then the DSP had made objectionable demands from her in exchange for help. At present, investigation and other necessary legal action are being taken in the case.
