We have many types of documents which we need for different purposes and at different times. One of these documents is the voter ID card which you need to cast your vote. For example, now elections are to be held in Delhi next year, so voters will need a voter ID card. Similarly, if you want to vote, then it is very important for your name to be in the voter list.

If this is not the case or your name has been deleted from the voter list, then you will not be able to vote. So make sure whether your name is in the voter list or not. If your name has been deleted from the voter list, then you can complain about it and get a solution. So let's know what is the way and where you can complain. This is how you can complain:-
First step

If your name has also been removed from the voter list, then you can get a solution by complaining about it
To complain online, you have to go to the official website of National Voter Service Portal i.e. NVSP https://voters.eci.gov.in/
You will see many options on the website

Second step
In such a situation, you have to click on the section 'Register Complaint' or 'Share Suggestion'
Then three options will come in front of you, out of which you have to click on 'Register Complaint'
Now you have to create your account and then login
After this you can register your complaint here.

This is how you can get your name added to the voter list:-
If your name has been removed from the voter list, then you can get it added. For this, you have to meet the Booth Level Officer i.e. BLO of your area
Here you have to fill Form 6 and also have to give some important documents along with a passport size photo. After this your name is added to the voter list.

Aadhar card, passport, driving license, PAN card

Pension card on which your photo is attested

Smart card issued by National Population Register i.e. NPR

Official identity card issued by MPs/MLAs/MLCs

MGNREGA job card, passbook issued by post office and bank

Health insurance card issued by Labor Ministry

If you are an employee of Central and State Government or working in PSUs and Public Limited Company, then voting can also be done on the basis of company's photo ID.
