Many types of physical and mental problems can occur due to not getting enough sleep. Stress and anxiety, weak memory are problems caused by lack of sleep. Apart from this, heart diseases, obesity, diabetes, fatigue and weakness are also caused by lack of sleep.

However, yoga is an effective way to improve the quality of sleep. Yoga provides mental peace and also helps in improving the quality of sleep. If you are troubled by insomnia or sleep problems, then some yogasanas can help you.

Balasana
This posture relaxes the body and provides peace to the brain. To practice this, sit in the position of Vajrasana and bend forward and keep your arms straight. Place the forehead on the ground and take a deep breath. Stay in this position for 2-3 minutes.

Shavasana
The practice of Shavasana deeply relaxes the entire body. To practice this, lie down on your back and leave your hands and feet loose. Then close your eyes and focus on the breath. Stay calm for 5-10 minutes.

Anulom-Vilom
This pranayama is helpful in reducing mental stress and improving sleep. To practice Anulom Vilom, sit in a comfortable position, close the right nostril and inhale from the left. Then close the left nostril and exhale from the right. Do this process for 5-10 minutes.
