Since the beginning of this year, there has been considerable buzz surrounding JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta's war film, *Border 2*. The film was released this year on the occasion of Republic Day. Apart from Sunny Deol, the second installment of this franchise featured an entirely new star cast. The film was a hit in theaters and is now set to be released on OTT platforms.

After making a strong impression in theaters, *Border 2* is now poised to make its debut on OTT. The film is scheduled to arrive on streaming platforms by the end of this month. If you missed watching the film in theaters, fret not—you can now enjoy it from the comfort of your own home.
Released on January 23, the film will begin streaming on Netflix starting March 20. Produced on a grand scale, this war drama offered audiences a story rich in patriotism, action, and emotion. The film features Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles.
The film is set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak War and depicts the military conflicts of that era on a grand canvas. The story recounts the time when Pakistan launched an attack on India under 'Operation Chengiz Khan,' and in response, the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force joined forces to take charge of the front lines.
In the film, Sunny Deol appears in the role of Lieutenant Colonel Fateh Singh Kaler, who confronts the enemy alongside his battalion on the fierce battlefield. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan portrays Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya, who is seen fighting valiantly on the front.
On the other hand, Diljit Dosanjh plays the character of Indian Air Force Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, who displayed extraordinary courage while defending the Srinagar Air Base during the war.

This film presents a distinct and more expansive narrative compared to the original *Border*, released in 1997. While the first film focused primarily on the Battle of Longewala, *Border 2* depicts multiple fronts of the war. Consequently, the scale of this film appears significantly larger than that of its predecessor. In terms of box office collections, ‘Border 2’ achieved impressive earnings. According to reports, the film grossed approximately ₹392.40 crore in India, while its worldwide collection reached nearly ₹449.65 crore. The film made a tremendous start by earning ₹244.97 crore within just its first week of release.
