Even though there is a bad atmosphere on the border between India and Pakistan, when the people of both countries meet each other, this scene is amazing. Especially the friendship between Indian cricketers and Pakistani cricketers is worth seeing. Former Pakistani cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq has told a story of how Anil Kumble helped him.

Saqlain Mushtaq said, "We were in England and I told Anil Bhai that there are not very good opticians at home. So I am struggling and if he can suggest some ophthalmologists. Then he suggested that I go to Dr. Bharat Rugani. He even said that he and Sourav Ganguly often consult him. He gave me the doctor's number and I went to meet him in Harley Street (in London)."
Mushtaq further said, "The doctor examined my eyes and gave me lenses. I had a cataract. My eyes were also weak. I consulted many doctors in Pakistan and no one could cure it. But Anil bhai helped me to cure my eyes. It was because of him that I could recover.”
