Aditya Dhar's film 'Dhurandhar-2' is performing exactly as projected. Consequently, several filmmakers had even postponed their release dates. However, filmmaker Priyadarshan remains completely confident regarding his film, 'Bhoot Bangla'. He asserts that the film is a wholesome family entertainer.

No Competition with 'Dhurandhar-2'
Following the robust box office performance of 'Dhurandhar-2', another film—Akshay Kumar's horror-comedy 'Bhoot Bangla'—is also set to release soon. Priyadarshan harbors no doubts regarding the film's commercial success. In a recent interview with PTI, the filmmaker spoke candidly about his upcoming project. He further noted that while 'Dhurandhar-2' cannot be watched with children due to its intense scenes, 'Bhoot Bangla' is a film that can be enjoyed by the entire family.
Why Does He Make Only Comedy Films?
Director Priyadarshan has collaborated with Akshay Kumar on numerous films, several of which—such as *Hera Pheri*, *Garam Masala*, and *Bhool Bhulaiyaa*—have gone on to become major hits. During his conversation, he remarked, "I believe that audiences enjoy watching diverse stories. 'Bhoot Bangla' is a thoroughly entertaining film that will captivate the audience and hold their interest. We have deliberately avoided using any double entendres or suggestive language in the film, ensuring that it remains suitable for viewing with children. I have upheld this principle as a guiding ideal since the very beginning of my career. I generally steer clear of making films centered solely on intense drama."

'Bhoot Bangla' Set for Imminent Release
Speaking about 'Bhoot Bangla', Priyadarshan revealed that while the film does contain several scenes that are highly suspenseful, it is equally replete with comedic sequences. Thus, it offers a well-balanced blend—a combination that audiences tend to appreciate. Directed by Priyadarshan, 'Bhoot Bangla' features Akshay Kumar alongside Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Mithila Palkar, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani in pivotal roles. 'Bhoot Bangla' is scheduled to hit theaters on April 10th.
