After a long wait, the film 'Toxic' was finally released in theaters on August 26. Audiences celebrated the film's release with great enthusiasm; crowds flocked to theaters as soon as it hit the screens. **'Toxic' Breaks Records**
On its very first day, 'Toxic' broke records set by several major Indian blockbusters. It surpassed the opening-day collections of films such as 'Pathaan' (₹57 crore), 'Animal' (₹63.80 crore), 'Jawan' (₹75 crore), and 'Kalki 2898 AD' (₹95.30 crore).
**Day 1 Earnings Cross ₹100 Crore**
'Toxic' got off to a stellar start at the box office.
According to data from Sacnilk, the film secured a massive opening of ₹101.10 crore at the Indian box office.
This figure represents its total collection.
The film earned ₹55 crore in the Hindi version and ₹23.30 crore in the Kannada version.
Additionally, it earned ₹16 crore in Telugu, ₹5.50 crore in Tamil, and ₹1.30 crore in Malayalam.
**Impressive Global Earnings**
While the film performed well in India, it also achieved excellent collections worldwide. In India, 'Toxic' grossed ₹120.75 crore, while its overseas collection stood at ₹20 crore. Consequently, its total worldwide gross collection reached ₹140.75 crore.
**'Awarapan 2' Collections Drop to Lakhs**
On its second Wednesday, the collection for the film starring Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani saw a significant decline. It is believed that the release of 'Toxic' impacted its earnings.
In its first week, 'Awarapan 2' had earned ₹113.50 crore. It collected ₹3.75 crore on its second Tuesday.
On its second Wednesday, it earned only ₹90 lakh.
The film's total collection has reached ₹143.65 crore.
**'Insidious' Earnings Dip**
The earnings of the horror film 'Insidious: Out of the Further' dropped again on Wednesday. It had a slow start at the box office. It is the sequel to 'Insidious: The Red Door'.
'Insidious' opened with ₹2.85 crore on its first day.
It earned ₹1.89 crore on the fifth day.
On the sixth day, it collected ₹50.70 lakh.
Its total collection has reached ₹16.26 crore.

**'Irumudi' Continues to Shine**
Ravi Teja's film 'Irumudi' was released in theaters on August 21. It has performed better than expected. The film has been posting impressive collection figures since its release.
It earned ₹12.20 crore on Tuesday.
It earned ₹10.20 crore on Wednesday.
With this, its total collection has reached ₹85.25 crore.
The film could soon cross the ₹100 crore mark.
