If you want a healthy future, then it is very important to take care of the health of children. Health experts say that if the habit of eating and exercising is made from childhood, then it can help protect from many types of serious diseases in the future.

Doctors say, usually we all keep giving chips, namkeen, chocolates, and cookies to small children as a way of pampering them, these things can increase the risk of many types of serious diseases in the future. If you also have a small child in your house, then you should be especially cautious about his food.
Will your small mistakes today cause serious problems for his health in the future?
Give nutritious food to children.
Doctors say it is very important to give nutritious and age-appropriate food to children up to two years of age because this is the foundation of their physical and mental growth. At this age, the digestive system and immune system of children are not fully developed, so some food items can be harmful.
The diet of children between 6 months and 2 years helps in building their future, which should be taken seriously.
What do pediatricians say?
Pediatrician Dr. Ravi Malik says, salt should not be given to children younger than one year and sugar should not be given to children younger than two years.
According to experts of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the kidneys of children younger than one year are weak, they are unable to manage sodium properly. Such children may be at risk of hypertension or heart disease in the future.
Similarly, if you give sugary things, sweets, chocolates, etc. to children younger than two years, then it increases the risk of obesity and diabetes in children. The risk of cardiovascular diseases can also be high in such children. Juice should also not be given to children younger than one year because it may also contain sugar.
If children are made addicted to sugar at this age, then it increases cravings in the future at the age of 5-6 years, which can lead to obesity and type-2 diabetes.
Exclusive breastfeeding for children up to 6 months
Both the World Health Organization and the AAP recommend exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months as it strengthens the child's immunity and protects against infections. During this time, do not even give water to children. The essential nutrients for children are easily fulfilled by the mother's milk.

Give supplementary food along with breastfeeding from 6 months to 12 months. First give simple, soft, and small amounts of food like porridge, lentil water, etc. After this, children can be given mashed fruits (banana, apple), boiled and mashed vegetables (carrot, potato, gourd), rice, khichdi, and easily digestible food.
