**Indian Films Have Demonstrated Their Mettle in Japan Before**

In terms of Indian cinema, S.S. Rajamouli's *RRR* emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film at the Japanese box office, earning a total of ₹139 crore. To date, no other film has managed to break this record in the country. Rajamouli's *Baahubali 2* also performed exceptionally well there. However, the question now remains: will Aditya Dhar be able to surpass Rajamouli's record with his *Dhurandhar Part 1*? Only time will tell.

It is worth noting that *Dhurandhar* currently remains the number one Hindi film in North America. It has also set a record for the highest earnings by an Indian film in countries such as Canada and Australia. Now it is Japan's turn—a place where the craze for Indian films has been growing significantly for quite some time.
