Dr. Kamlesh Ahirwar, stationed at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Nowgong, Chhatarpur, explains that its botanical name is *Moringa oleifera*, and in Ayurveda, it is used to treat over 300 diseases. The plant bears fruit year-round; its long pods (drumsticks) are not only delicious to eat but also packed with medicinal properties. Every part of the *Munga* plant—roots, stem, leaves, flowers, and pods—is edible. It is easy to plant at home during the rainy season and requires minimal maintenance.

Dr. Kamlesh notes that beyond its medicinal qualities, dishes made from its leaves, flowers, and pods taste amazing. The pods can be cooked with lentils (*dal*), potatoes, or prepared on their own; the roots can even be used to make pickles.
Dr. Kamlesh suggests that parents who struggle to provide adequate nutrition for their children should plant *Munga* at home. From the leaves to the flowers and pods, the plant provides the body with abundant nutrients. Therefore, everyone should plant a *Munga* tree in their home.
