Observing this fast leads to a happy married life and helps resolve marital issues. Apart from married women, unmarried girls and widows can also observe the Hartalika Teej fast. Hartalika Teej is celebrated annually on the *Tritiya Tithi* (third day) of the *Shukla Paksha* (waxing phase of the moon) in the month of Bhadrapada. The fast is observed from sunrise on *Tritiya* until sunrise on *Chaturthi* (the fourth day), during which time one abstains from consuming food, water, and other edibles.

According to the Vedic *Panchang* (almanac), the *Bhadrapada Shukla Tritiya Tithi* for Hartalika Teej will begin at 7:08 AM on September 13 and remain valid until 7:06 AM on September 14. Since the *Udaya Tithi* (the *Tithi* prevailing at sunrise) of *Tritiya* falls on September 14, Hartalika Teej will be celebrated on Monday, September 14.

Women observing the Hartalika Teej fast can perform the *puja* (worship) between 6:05 AM and 7:38 AM, or subsequently between 9:11 AM and 10:44 AM. The *Char-Samanya Muhurat* (auspicious period) at that time will last from 6:28 PM to 7:55 PM.

Hartalika Teej to be Celebrated During *Ravi Yoga*

This year, Hartalika Teej will be celebrated during *Ravi Yoga*. On September 14, *Ravi Yoga* prevails from 6:06 AM to 3:21 PM. Due to the influence of the Sun, *Ravi Yoga* is believed to eliminate all kinds of flaws or negative influences, making it a highly auspicious and fruitful alignment.
