IND vs ENG T20 Playing 11: India can field four spinners in Rajkot as well, Shami's return depends on fitness

The Indian team, which has taken a 2-0 lead in the five-match T20 series by winning two consecutive matches, will be eyeing to win the series by winning the third match to be held in Rajkot on Tuesday. In the first two matches, the Indian bowlers had prevented England from scoring big. Fast bowler Mohammed Shami did not get a place in the playing-11 in both the matches and his return will once again depend on fitness.

It is difficult for Shami to play

Shami is also a part of the Indian team for the ODI series against England and the Champions Trophy to be held next month. The team management does not want to take any risk with him, so it is not in a hurry to bring Shami back. If Shami remains fit, he will be included in the playing-11. However, it is unlikely that he will be in the team for the third T20. In such a situation, the responsibility of fast bowling attack will once again be on Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya. India fielded the only specialist fast bowler in the form of Arshdeep Singh in the first two matches. Hardik Pandya took over the responsibility of the new ball with him. India is unlikely to change this combination.

Who will get a chance, Shivam or Ramandeep?

Rinku Singh and Nitish Reddy will not be able to play in this match due to injury. Shivam Dubey and Ramandeep Singh were given a place in the team in their place. But the question arises that who among these two will be given a place in the playing-11? Dubey was entrusted with the responsibility of taking an aggressive attitude against spinners in the middle overs during the T20 World Cup and he can prove to be effective against Adil Rashid's leg spin. However, Ramandeep can bowl medium pace fast. The team has four spinners in the form of Axar Patel, Washington Sander, Ravi Bishnoi and Varun Chakraborty, so Ramandeep can be an option in fast bowling. In the second match, captain Suryakumar Yadav also made Abhishek Sharma bowl. If Ramandeep gets a chance in the playing-11, he can bowl if needed.

Suryakumar and Samson would like to return to form

India has so far preferred to field with eight batsmen as Ravi Bishnoi and Varun Chakraborty have bowled well in the middle overs. India has performed well on the batting-friendly pitch of Rajkot and its top order batsmen would like to take full advantage of the conditions and play a big innings. Sanju Samson, who performed brilliantly in South Africa, got out on a short pitch ball from Jofra Archer in the last two matches. He will have to overcome this weakness as soon as possible, while captain Suryakumar Yadav would like to return to form.

The responsibility will be to stop Butler

England captain Jos Buttler has proved to be dangerous for India in both the matches so far. Butler scored a half-century in the first match and then played a blistering innings in the second match as well. Although Butler missed out on scoring a half-century in Chennai, his innings helped the team reach a fighting score. So far, only captain Jos Buttler has performed well in batting for England. His other batsmen have struggled to score runs against spin bowling. The Indian bowlers will face the challenge of stopping Butler.

The team of India and England for the third T20 match is as follows...

India's probable playing-11: Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma, Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Ramandeep Singh, Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Varun Chakraborty.

England's declared playing-11: Phil Salt (wicketkeeper), Ben Duckett, Jos Buttler (captain), Harry Brook, Liam Livingstone, Jamie Smith, Jamie Overton, Brydon Carse, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood.
