Today, Salman Khan's team sent a legal notice to the makers of the upcoming film *Kala Hiran*, demanding a halt to its production. The film's producer, Amit Jani, has responded to this matter. It is widely believed that the film is inspired by Salman Khan's ongoing blackbuck poaching case; however, Amit Jani has denied this claim. He stated that the film is based entirely on information already available in the public domain, and its primary focus is on the Bishnoi community's struggle to protect wildlife.

**'Kala Hiran' is Not a Salman Biopic**
Speaking to *India Today*, Amit Jani remarked, "This notice has been sent in haste. This film is not a biopic of Salman Khan. This legal action is unnecessary. Apart from a single poster, nothing else regarding the film has been released so far. Its teaser is scheduled to be released on June 20. I am surprised by this legal notice. This case, along with the events surrounding it, constitutes part of the public record and can be depicted on screen. The film is based on a broader narrative that encompasses the Bishnoi community—their struggles and their deep-rooted connection with wildlife."
**The Film Does Not Portray Salman Negatively**
Amit Jani further added, "I have not portrayed Salman Khan in a negative light, nor have I glorified Lawrence Bishnoi. The film merely depicts what is already available in the public domain and highlights the beliefs and history of the Bishnoi community."
He continued, "If the court summons us, we will appear and present our side of the matter. We have done so in previous cases as well, and we will continue to abide by the legal process."
**What is the Case?**
Essentially, Salman Khan's legal team has issued a notice to the producers of the film *Kala Hiran*. The notice alleges that the film is based on the actor's ongoing blackbuck poaching case. Furthermore, the notice demands an immediate stay on the film's release and the removal of all posters and promotional materials associated with the project. It also warns that if the manufacturers fail to fulfill these demands, further legal action will be taken.
