Mahakumbh 2025: As the Mahakumbh Mela is moving closer to its summon days, the crowd in Prayagraj is increasing. Chitrakoot

Chitrakoot is about 130 km away from Prayagraj.

Chitrakoot is a religious place located on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

It is associated with Lord Rama. It is believed that Lord Shri Ram stayed in Chitrakoot during his 14 years of exile.

Kamadgiri Mountain, Hanuman Dhara, Sati Anusuiya Ashram, and Gupt Godavari are the main attractions among tourists in Chitrakoot.

Vindhyachal

Vindhyachal is in Mirzapur district which is about 75 km away from Prayagraj.

This place is famous for the temple of Maa Vindhyavasini Devi.

Vindhyavasini Devi Temple, Ashtabhuja Devi Temple, and Kalikhoh Temple are located here.

Kaushambi

There are two famous religious places at a distance of 55-60 km from Prayagraj.

First, Sheetla Mata Dham, where a large number of devotees come for darshan.

Second, the Buddhist site, is a historical place associated with the sermons of Gautam Buddha.

In Kaushambi, you can visit Ashoka Pillar, Gopalgarh Fort, and Jain Temple.

Shringaverpur Dham

Shringaverpur is 40 km away from Prayagraj on the Prayagraj-Bahraich road.

This place is considered a symbol of friendship between Lord Ram and Nishadraj.

In Shringaverpur, you can visit Shringi Rishi Ashram, Ramcharan Temple and Ganga Ghat.
