The release date of actor Dhanush's highly anticipated film 'Om: Chapter 1' has been postponed. The actor shared this information with his fans on social media. Here is what Dhanush's post says:

What does the post say about 'Om'?
Dhanush announced the update regarding the release date of 'Om: Chapter 1' on Instagram. He wrote, "Postponing a film's release comes with its own set of challenges. Our superstar Rajinikanth Sir—whom we have long regarded as an idol and a revered figure—has a film releasing on October 15, just a day before ours. Out of immense respect for him, we have decided to postpone the release of our film 'Om' to a later date."

Won't release during Diwali either
Dhanush further elaborated in his post, "Additionally, we are not releasing the film during Diwali this year either, as Suriya Sir's film is scheduled for release on that date. To be honest, he had announced his release date earlier, and we firmly believe that big films should exercise mutual understanding and respect each other's decisions in the interest of the film industry. We will announce our new release date soon."

Star cast of the film 'Om'

The film is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. Dhanush and Mammootty will appear in pivotal roles.
Apart from them, Sai Pallavi, Sreeleela, and veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah are also part of the film.
This project marks the second collaboration between actor Dhanush and Rajkumar Periasamy.
Rajkumar Periasamy has previously received a National Award for the film 'Amaran'.

Dhanush receives National Award
Recently, at the 72nd National Film Awards ceremony held in Gujarat, Tamil actor Dhanush was honored with the National Film Award – Special Mention (Feature Film) for his outstanding performance in the movie 'Captain Miller'. The film is directed by Arun Matheswaran.
