Pakistan batting coach Mohammad Yousuf, who had decided to pull out of the New Zealand tour a few hours ago on Tuesday, has now changed his mind and decided to travel with the team for the white-ball matches. Former captain Yousuf was appointed batting coach for the tour. He informed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that he was withdrawing from the tour due to his daughter's illness.

A PCB official said, 'Yousuf informed the board that his daughter's condition is fine now, so he will be available to go to New Zealand with the team.' Yousuf was appointed batting coach for the tour of New Zealand consisting of five T20 Internationals and three ODIs after Pakistan's disappointing campaign in the Champions Trophy. The team will leave for New Zealand on Wednesday.
