Parenting Tips: Parents should keep these 6 things in mind when feeding their babies with a bottle..

How to Bottle Feed Babies: For the good health and nutrition of babies and young children, not only is the right diet is important, but also the correct way of feeding. Often, while bottle-feeding their children, parents sometimes make mistakes that can lead to major problems in the future. This can also negatively affect the child's health. Regarding this, pediatrician Dr. Ravi Malik recently shared a video on his Instagram handle, in which he explained the common mistakes made during bottle feeding. Let's find out what parents should keep in mind so that there is no negative impact on their children's health.

1. Bottle Cleaning
Always use a clean and safe bottle to feed your baby. For cleaning, parents should leave the bottle nipple and cap to boil in water for 10 minutes. This will eliminate all kinds of germs and bacteria from the bottle.

2. How to Use Milk Powder?
If you are using milk powder instead of natural milk, always pay attention to the quantity. Use one scoop of powder for every 30 mL of water to prepare the milk. Also, only follow the instructions given on the packet. Avoid preparing the milk in your own way.

3. Pay Attention to Temperature
Before bottle-feeding, parents should always check the temperature. If the milk is too hot, the baby's mouth can get burned. To check the temperature, put 2-3 drops of milk from the bottle on your hand. If the milk feels too hot, let it cool down.

4. Choosing the Right Nipple
Parents should always choose the right nipple for their children. Dr. Ravi explains that parents should choose a nipple from which the milk comes out in drops; this will prevent the child from choking and make it easier for the child to drink the milk.

5. Do Not Reuse Leftover Milk
The pediatrician advises that parents should never reuse leftover milk from the bottle hours later. This can cause them to get an infection.

6. Never feed your baby while they are lying flat.
You should never feed your baby while they are lying flat, as this can cause them to choke. Dr. Ravi explains that babies should always be fed in a semi-inclined position, which will prevent any problems for the baby.
