After the victory of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League 2025, the fans were overjoyed and when their team reached the trophy, this celebration turned into mourning. The crowd of fans who had come to attend RCB's victory parade outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium went out of control and 11 people died in the stampede there. The statement that came from RCB regarding this was shameless. It said that the fans who came to celebrate were asked to take care of each other but even after this such an incident happened.

Such a big event was organized without proper arrangements and RCB is blaming the people instead of its arrangements. The spokesperson said that people should understand the feelings of cricket lovers but did not say a word about mismanagement. He said, "We are trying to control what is in our hands. The government is cooperating at every level but these were the feelings of the people. Despite the messages of taking care of each other, such a situation arose during the victory celebrations. The spokesperson said in a statement, "We have to understand the feelings of the people. They have waited patiently for 18 years for this victory. We should sympathize with them for this weakness and emotion." The program continued even after the stampede. The death of innocent fans due to the stampede revealed what kind of planning the RCB management had made for the victory parade. The most shameful thing is that when the fans participating in the team's celebration lost their lives and 11 people died, even then this program was continued. Instead of stopping it, the team reached the stage with the trophy and then it was also taken around the entire stadium. While many fans of the same team lost their lives outside. IPL chairman Arun Dhumal said that as soon as he came to know about this tragedy, he asked the organizers to stop the program. He told PTI, "Whatever investigation is needed, it will be done. This was not a BCCI event. This is sad and tragic. The celebration turned into a tragedy. Our condolences to the families who lost their loved ones.
Dhumal said, "I don't know whether this event was pre-planned or not. Were the fans invited or did they come on their own? When I was talking to RCB officials, there was so much noise inside the stadium. They probably did not know what was happening outside. When I told them, they assured me that the event would be stopped immediately."
