Neeraj Pandey, who directed blockbuster films like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, will direct the biopic of one of the biggest legends of Indian music, RD Burman. He has previously directed thrillers like "A Wednesday," "Special 26," and "Baby." He will return to the biographical genre after delivering the box office hit "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story," which is based on the life of former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, starring Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role.

Although there has been no official confirmation from Neeraj Pandey, media reports suggest that he has already completed the film's script and has also completed recce in Scotland and Budapest. The report further claims that the makers have begun discussions to cast the lead actor, but have not yet finalized any names.
