Method of making Sabudana Cutlet

Sabudana – 1 cup

Boiled potatoes – 2 medium-sized

Peanuts (roasted and coarsely ground) – 1/4 cup

Green chillies – 1-2

Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons (chopped)

Rock salt – according to taste

Lemon juice – 1/2 teaspoon

Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon

Black pepper powder – 1/4 teaspoon

Oil – for frying

Method of making

To prepare Sabudana Cutlet, first of all, soak Sabudana for 4-5 hours. Let the water soak completely, and the Sabudana become soft. If there is excess water, then strain it.

Now it is time to put Sabudana, mashed potatoes, roasted peanuts, green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, rock salt, and black pepper in a bowl. If you want, you can also add lemon juice.

Next comes the turn to make small round balls in the shape of tikki or cutlet from this mixture of sabudana and press them lightly with the palm. Now, heat oil in a pan.

Fry the cutlet on medium flame till it becomes golden brown. Cook it well from both the sides. Now it is ready, serve it hot with green chutney or curd.
