This cauliflower recipe is quite easy to prepare, as it involves neither the hassle of chopping nor the task of preparing a multitude of spices. It is a simple, oven-baked dish that can be enjoyed as a snack or served as a side dish. Let's explore this Roasted Cauliflower recipe:

**Ingredients You'll Need:**
1 medium-sized cauliflower
Olive oil (or any cooking oil of your choice)
Grated garlic
Salt (to taste)
Parmesan cheese
Parsley
**How to Prepare:**
First, preheat your oven to 400°F (approx. 200°C).
In a small pan, add the oil and sauté the grated garlic for about 1 minute; then, transfer this garlic-infused oil into a small bowl.
Now, remove the thick stem from the cauliflower, wash it thoroughly, and pat it dry. Rub 1 teaspoon of salt evenly over the entire surface of the cauliflower.
Place the cauliflower in a small cast-iron pan and thoroughly coat it with the prepared garlic oil. Ensure there are no actual pieces of garlic left in the oil, as they would burn during the roasting process in the oven. Now, cover the pan loosely with aluminum foil.
Roast the cauliflower for 35 to 40 minutes; then, remove the foil cover and continue cooking for another 10 minutes until it becomes tender.
Finally, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the cauliflower and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese has melted. Garnish with parsley just before serving.
**How to Tell if the Cauliflower is Cooked:**
If you have a metal cake tester, insert it into the center of the cauliflower to check for doneness. Alternatively, you can use a knife for this purpose. If the cauliflower is fully cooked, the knife or tester will slide into it with ease.

**Tips for a Better Result:**
A two-step cooking process is essential to ensure the cauliflower turns out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. First, cook the cauliflower covered with foil, and then cook it uncovered to achieve a golden color.
