In the caption accompanying the post, the actress wrote, "My inspiration at Cannes was the blue waters of the French Riviera."

She further added, "I wanted my outfit to be blue, evoking the sensation of hovering above the blue water."

Sonam revealed that she designed this look herself, utilizing the assistance of AI to bring it to life.

Sonam is also part of the delegation of actors representing the India Pavilion at Cannes.
