In summer, cold and nutritious almond shakes can be beneficial for health. It gives energy and is also wonderful in taste.
Ingredients:
Almonds - 20 (soaked overnight)
Milk - one liter
Sugar or honey - 4 tablespoons
Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Saffron - 4-5 strands
Ice cubes

Method:
Remove the peel of almonds soaked overnight and grind them by adding some milk to a mixer.
Now heat the milk in a pan on low flame for 5-7 minutes. Add saffron strands to it.
Now keep the milk aside to cool. When it cools, put it in the mixer. Add ground almonds, sugar or honey, cardamom powder and ice to it.
Now blend in the mixer for 1-2 minutes, until the shake becomes creamy and frothy.
The almond shake is ready. Pour it into a glass and garnish with chopped almonds or pistachios and serve.
To make a thicker shake, reduce the milk or add some cashews and dates.
If you want a healthier option, use honey or dates instead of sugar.
