**Soiled Utensils:** After meals, soiled dishes are typically left in the kitchen, whereas a temple is a sacred space. Consequently, the presence of soiled utensils in the kitchen negatively impacts the energy of the area and is considered disrespectful to the Divine. Therefore, one should strictly avoid building a temple in the kitchen under any circumstances.

**Tamasic Food:** In many households, onions, garlic, or non-vegetarian foods are consumed. When such food is prepared in the kitchen, the presence of a temple there generates negative energy, which can subsequently have an adverse effect on the members of the family.

**Waste Bin:** A dustbin (waste bin) is also a standard fixture in the kitchen. For this reason, one should strictly refrain from constructing a temple in the kitchen.

**Near or Opposite the Bathroom:** A temple should not be located near to or directly opposite a bathroom. Furthermore, ensure that there is no toilet situated directly above the temple.

**Bedroom:** According to Vastu, placing a temple within a bedroom is not considered appropriate.
