Welcome To The Jungle Box Office Day 7: Akshay Kumar's multi-starrer film 'Welcome To The Jungle' has completed one week in theaters today. The comedy film, which made a spectacular opening of ₹15.25 crore at the domestic box office, shows no signs of slowing down even after a week.

While the film's single-day collection hovered around ₹4.5 crore on Wednesday, Thursday saw a significant surge in earnings for 'Welcome To The Jungle'.
Makers of 'Welcome To The Jungle' Reap Rewards on Thursday
According to early reports from Sacnilk.com, 'Welcome To The Jungle' grossed over ₹5 crore in a single day at the domestic box office on its seventh day of release. The early collection for the movie—starring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal—stood at approximately ₹5.25 crore on Thursday, a figure that could rise further by morning.
The comedy film, which earned ₹3.75 crore from paid previews, opened with ₹15.25 crore on its first day. Subsequently, on the second day (Saturday), the movie garnered around ₹20 crore. It drew a strong audience on Sunday as well, recording a single-day business of approximately ₹24.75 crore. Additionally, the movie earned ₹8.5 crore on Monday, ₹9.25 crore on the fifth day, and around ₹4 crore on the sixth day. Over the course of one week, the movie has amassed a net collection of ₹92.90 crore at the domestic box office.
Could 'Alpha' Pose a Major Challenge for Akshay Kumar?
While the movie is inching towards the ₹100-crore club in India, its worldwide collection has been equally impressive. Having earned a total of ₹137.07 crore globally, the film has fully recovered its ₹125-crore budget. In the overseas market, the film has earned ₹26.45 crore. Although *Welcome to the Jungle* had a very successful first week, the box office dynamics could now be disrupted by the arrival of the Alia Bhatt-Bobby Deol starrer *Alpha* in theaters on July 3, posing a significant challenge for Akshay Kumar's comedy film.
