Mohammed Shami IND vs ENG 3rd T20I: Questions remain about Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami. Shami has been made a part of the five-match T20 series being played against England. The first match of the series was played on 22 January at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, before which it was expected that Shami would make a comeback, but he could not make a comeback in the match played at Eden Gardens.

Then the second T20 of the series was played on 25 January at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In this match, fans once again hoped that Mohammed Shami will make a comeback in Team India. He has been out of Team India for the last 14 months. However, Shami was also ignored from the T20 played in Chennai. So will Shami be dropped from the third T20 to be played on 28 January in Rajkot? Let's find out.

Former Team India spinner Piyush Chawla told broadcasting that Shami is still limping a bit. Piyush Chawla said, "If you look at the runup, he is still limping. The Champions Trophy should be the main focus and he has to be fit for it. There are a lot of matches in this series and if he misses a few matches, it is okay."

Shami's fitness

However, Shami's childhood coach Badruddin confirmed that Shami is fully fit and can play the last two matches of the series. Talking to Rev Sports, Badruddin said, "Before leaving for Kolkata for the first T20, he called me and told me that everything is fine. His fitness is completely fine. I think they (team management) are building up his load at this time, because he was out of the international set-up for more than a year. I think they will play him in the last two T20s before the ODI series. The team management is the best judge. I hope there will be a clear conversation between the coach (Gautam Gambhir) and Shami in this regard."
