In addition, worshipping Goddess Annapurna and donating food to the needy is also considered extremely auspicious.

Worship Method

Wake up in the morning, meditate on Lord Vishnu and take a vow to fast.

After bathing, worship Vishnu as per the prescribed rituals, light a lamp, and recite the Vishnu Sahasranama.

After the puja, place a Kalash under the Amla tree and worship it by offering incense, a lamp, sandalwood paste, roli, rice grains, and flowers.

After this, feed a Brahmin or a needy person.

The next day, after bathing and worshipping, donate the Kalash, clothes, and Amla, and then break the fast and eat food.
