On Sunday, the veteran actor was spotted driving the car himself; he chose to take the wheel rather than have a chauffeur drive him.

'Big B' drove the vehicle himself, surprising fans and onlookers, as he usually travels with a driver. This incident occurred on the day Bachchan was observing his long-standing tradition of greeting fans outside his Mumbai residence, 'Jalsa'. This weekly ritual, popularly known as 'Sunday Darshan', has become a special way for the actor to connect with his fans.

After meeting his fans, Bachchan shared a post on his blog reflecting on the generation gap and the rapid pace of technological change. Writing about growing up in a different era, he noted, "We came from the era of 1942. We grew up in times of limited resources. Back then, there was little awareness regarding inventions and their creation. When you have lived through that unfamiliar era—or the limitations born of it—it becomes difficult for the new generation to grasp what we mean. Sometimes they are right, but we are right too."
