On this day, it is customary to worship and offer prayers to Lord Vishnu according to prescribed rituals. **Worship Method**
Clean the home temple and install an idol or image of Lord Vishnu.
Offer yellow flowers and sweets to the Lord.
During the worship, offer Tulsi (Holy Basil) leaves, fruits, and Panchamrit (a sacred mixture of milk, yogurt, honey, ghee, and sugar).
Also, offer Chana Dal (split Bengal gram) to Lord Vishnu while praying for happiness and prosperity.
Now, recite the story (Katha) of Apara Ekadashi.
Chant the mantra "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya" 108 times using a prayer rosary (mala).
