Bhang or Belpatra: Which offering will please Lord Shiva more on Mahashivratri? know here...

Mahashivratri is a festival dedicated to the worship and adoration of Lord Shiva. Special prayers are offered to Lord Shiva throughout the 24 hours of this day. Devotees pray for the fulfillment of their desires. On Mahashivratri, the Lord is worshipped four times, every two hours at intervals. Worshipping Lord Shiva with various offerings on this day fulfills every wish. If possible, perform Rudrabhishekam as well.

This will bring Lord Shiva's blessings. Acharya Dr. Ramlal Tripathi of Vindhyadham explains that Mahashivratri is celebrated on the Krishna Chaturdashi of Phalgun month. The first puja is performed at 10 pm, the second at 12 am, the third at 2 am, and the fourth at 4 am. These four times are available only on February 15th.

Acharya Dr. Ramlal Tripathi says that it would be appropriate to celebrate Mahashivratri on February 15th. Our scriptures provide for worship during both fortnights. Therefore, worship Lord Shiva only in the morning. Before worshipping him, bathe him with Panchamrit. A consecrated Shivalinga does not require invocation. You can worship by simply offering water.

Must Offer These Items

According to Dr. Ramlal Tripathi, the place where the idol is made and worshipped is called the Parthiva Linga. It is consecrated, followed by the consecration. Use clothes, fragrance, unbroken rice grains, flowers, incense, lamps, naivedya, betel leaves, bel leaves, fruits, and sacred thread during Shiva worship. Lord Shiva loves these items. Bhang (Indian cannabis) is also a great favorite, so be sure to offer it. Performing Rudrabhishek on Mahashivratri is also considered auspicious. Get Rudrabhishek performed by a priest on this day, 21, 11, 5, or by a single priest. Chant Om Namah Shivaya. Reciting Rudra Ashtadhyaya 10 times yields special benefits.
