Box Office Report: 'Sikandar' crawled past 100 crore mark, know how 'L 2 Empuran' and 'Chhava' fared..

Last Sunday was an exciting and instructive day for cinema halls. While some films seemed to be burdened with expectations, one film surprised everyone with its stronghold. On 06 April 2025, big releases like Salman Khan's 'Sikander' and Mohanlal's 'L 2 Empuraan' were expected to rock the ticket window, but both films were disappointed. On the other hand, 'Chhava' continued to win the hearts of the audience, strengthening its spectacular success story. Let's know in detail how these films were collected on Sunday...

'Sikander' is in a bad shape.

'Sikander', made on a huge budget of about Rs 200 crore, has been slow in earning since the beginning. After earning just Rs 3 crore 75 lakh on Saturday, there was a slight improvement on Sunday, but considering Salman's stardom, this figure is considered to be very low. In many theaters, its shows are being reduced and in some places, it is being removed and other films are being given a chance, which tells the difficult situation of the film.

Crawling to cross 100 crores

Fans were expecting a blockbuster from 'Sikander', which was released on 30 March 2025 on the occasion of Eid, but even on the 11th day, it failed to pull the audience to the theaters. Salman Khan's film 'Sikander' recorded a collection of Rs 4 crore 50 lakh on Sunday, with which its total collection has now become Rs 102.5 crore.

'L 2 Empuraan' did not show wonders

Mohanlal's much-talked-about film 'L 2 Empuraan' did a business of Rs 3 crore 85 lakh on Sunday. On the 11th day, this figure took the total earnings of the film to Rs 98.35 crore. Released on 27 March 2025, this film was made with a budget of Rs 180 crore, but it also failed to get the kind of love from the audience that was expected. The film got some relief in foreign markets, but the film could not do wonders among the Indian audience, especially in Hindi-speaking states.

'Chhava's brilliant innings continues.

On the other hand, the film 'Chhava' collected Rs 1 crore 30 lakh on Sunday, with which its total business has now reached Rs 598.5 crore. Even after several weeks of release, this film continues to dominate the box office. After earning Rs 90 lakh on Saturday, it saw a jump on Sunday, which is proof of its popularity. 'Chhava' not only won the hearts of the audience but also made its own identity by standing strong in front of big films like 'Sikandar' and 'L2 Empuran'.
