Chardham Yatra: There's great news today for those who have been eagerly awaiting the Chardham Yatra. The gates of Badrinath Dham, located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, will be opened to devotees on April 23rd this year. These gates are opening after six months, and this news has brought immense joy to devotees across the country, who have been waiting for this for a long time. The date was decided after performing rituals and prayers on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami. Temple committee officials officially announced this on Friday.

This year, the Chardham Yatra will begin on April 19th, on the day of Akshaya Tritiya, with the opening of the gates of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham. Last year, the pilgrimage started on April 30th. Therefore, this year's Chardham Yatra will begin 11 days earlier than last year. The extended duration of the Chardham Yatra will give devotees more time for darshan (viewing the deities).
When will the gates of Badrinath and Kedarnath open?
According to reports, the date and time for the opening of the gates of Badrinath and Kedarnath were decided after special prayers and rituals on Basant Panchami. This year, the temple gates will be opened at 6:15 AM on April 23rd.
