The Chhath festival began on Saturday with Nahai-Khai. The four-day Chhath festival will continue until October 28th. On the first day of the festival, i.e., Nahai-Khai, fasting women take a holy bath, consume satvik food, and begin their fast with purity.

Chhath festival is not just a festival, but a symbol of faith, devotion, and self-control. It is celebrated six days after Diwali and is celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion, primarily in states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, and West Bengal.
During the Chhath festival, women observe a 36-hour fast, observing strict rules and offering prayers to the Sun God for the happiness, prosperity, and longevity of their children. If women are observing the Chhath fast for the first time, it is important to understand that it is not just a religious ritual, but also a symbol of a disciplined and pious lifestyle.
