Finding a chilled dessert in the scorching heat washes away all fatigue. If you’ve had your fill of ice cream and mangoes and want to try something different, why not make fruit custard? The best part is that fruit custard is incredibly easy to prepare; let’s look at the recipe.

**Fruit Custard Ingredients**
2 cups full-fat milk
2 cups of finely chopped fruits
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 tablespoons cornflour
1 pinch yellow food color
Sugar to taste
**Method for Making Fruit Custard**
First, chop all the fruits and place them in the refrigerator so they stay cool.
Set aside 4 tablespoons of milk, then pour the remaining milk into a pan and heat it. Heat the milk for at least 2 minutes.
In the next step, add the vanilla essence, cornflour, and yellow food coloring.
Now, add the 4 tablespoons of milk you had set aside and mix well. Ensure there are no lumps.
Cook the custard mixture on a low flame until it thickens.
At this stage, set the custard aside to cool, and finally, mix in all the chopped fruits.
Your refreshingly cool custard is ready!
**Points to Remember When Making Fruit Custard**
If the custard seems thin while hot, be patient; it will thicken naturally as it cools.
Use a variety of fruits in the custard.
**Health Benefits of Fruit Custard**
Here are three major benefits of including custard in your diet:
**Provides Better Energy to the Body**
Custard can be consumed to provide an instant energy boost. Its carbohydrate content helps keep the body active while contributing to a balanced diet.

**Strengthens Bones**
