Dhanteras Puja Method

First, thoroughly clean the house and place of worship. Draw a rangoli at the main entrance and light a lamp to attract positive energy.

Place a platform in the northeastern corner of the house and spread a clean red or yellow cloth on it. This will be the main place for worship.

Take a copper or clay pot. Fill it with Ganga water and clean water, place mango leaves, and place a coconut on top. This symbolizes auspiciousness and prosperity.

Install idols or pictures of Lord Dhanvantari, Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Kubera, and Lord Ganesha on the platform.

Offer turmeric, kumkum, sandalwood, rice grains, flowers, incense, lamps, sweets, dry fruits, and dakshina during the puja. Recite mantras with devotion.

Light a large lamp filled with cow ghee during the puja. Also, light 13 small lamps in different places in the house. This symbolizes longevity and prosperity.

Offer puffed rice, sugar candy, sweets, and dry fruits and perform aarti for all the deities. After this, all family members should partake of the prasad.
