Patna Municipal Corporation is actively preparing for the Chhath festival. In this regard, a special digital facility has been launched. Now, Patna residents will no longer need to worry about finding information about their nearest Chhath Ghat. The Municipal Corporation has launched a WhatsApp chatbot service, through which people can get information about nearby Chhath Ghats and ponds from the comfort of their homes.

How to get information about Chhath Ghat
To avail this facility, people simply need to send "Hi" from their WhatsApp number to 9264447449. After this, an option to select a language, such as Hindi or English, will appear. A list of services will appear on the screen.

The user will then have to share their location, after which the chatbot will automatically send complete information about the nearest Chhath Ghat. This information will include the name of the Ghat, Google location link, the name and mobile number of the sanitation inspector, and the zonal officer.

Route from home to the Ghat with just one click
The most important feature of this service is that the route from home to the Ghat will also be displayed on WhatsApp. This means that devotees can see in one click which ghat is closest to their home and how to reach it.

In view of the Chhath festival, the Patna Municipal Corporation has made special preparations for cleanliness, lighting, and security at all the major ghats in the city. The ghats are being repaired so that fasting women can offer Arghya without any inconvenience.

This chatbot not only provides information about the ghats but also facilitates other municipal services and filing complaints. Corporation officials say that this is the first e-service of its kind, providing instant access to the public on a digital platform. The Municipal Corporation aims to avoid crowds and inconveniences and ensure that people can easily reach their nearest ghat and enjoy Chhath Puja in a safe and clean environment.
