On Diwali, at sunset, take a red cloth and return to the same place where you placed the coconut. Take it out of the lake, pond, or river and place it in the red cloth. Bathe the coconut in the holy water. Apply a tilak (a mark of the moon), then perform aarti with incense and lamps, and perform the ritualistic worship. Then, in the morning, place the coconut in the place where you keep your money.
