Easy Sweet Recipes for Holi Festival: Holi is a festival of colors, excitement, and sweetness. Gulab Jamun is one of the most favorite sweets of Holi. Ready-made mix makes it very easy to prepare. First, take the mix in a bowl and knead a soft dough by adding milk little by little. Make sure the dough is not too stiff or sticky. Now form small, smooth balls, ensuring they don't crack. Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat and fry them over low heat until golden brown. Meanwhile, prepare a syrup using sugar, water, and cardamom. Soak the fried jamuns in the hot syrup for at least 1-2 hours to ensure they become juicy on the inside.

Coconut Laddoo

Coconut Laddoo is a quick dessert. Put grated coconut in a pan and add condensed milk. Stir over low heat for 4-5 minutes until the mixture thickens. Add cardamom powder to taste. When the mixture starts to leave the pan, turn off the heat and let it cool slightly. Apply a little ghee to your hands and form small laddus. Garnish with pistachios or almonds if desired.

Semolina Halwa

Heat 3-4 tablespoons of ghee in a pan, add semolina, and fry over low heat until golden brown. Separately, bring water and sugar to a boil. When the semolina is thoroughly roasted and fragrant, carefully add the sweetened water. Stir constantly to prevent lumps. The pudding will thicken in 5-7 minutes. Finally, add cardamom powder and dried fruits. The hot pudding is ready.

Chocolate Burfi

Pour condensed milk into a non-stick pan and add cocoa powder. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. When the mixture thickens and begins to leave the pan, add a little ghee. Spread the mixture onto a greased tray and level it with a spatula. You can sprinkle chopped dried fruits on top. Let it set for 1-2 hours, then cut into desired shapes.

Peda

Add 1 cup milk powder, 2-3 tablespoons ghee, and half a cup of condensed milk to a pan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. When the mixture thickens and begins to leave the pan, turn off the heat. Once it cools slightly, form small pedas with your hands. Garnish with saffron or pistachios. These pedas taste exactly like the ones available in the market and are ready in very little time.
