Elon Musk Becomes a Father Again
Tesla CEO and the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, has welcomed another child. According to media reports, Musk has now become a father for the 14th time. His partner, Shivon Zilis, shared the news of their child's birth in a social media post, which Musk later confirmed by responding with a heart emoji.
Reports suggest that Musk and Shivon Zilis had previously kept the identities of their third and fourth children private. However, on their third child’s birthday, they decided to publicly reveal the name of their fourth child.
Musk & Zilis Announce Their Son’s Name
Elon Musk and Shivon Zilis have named their newborn son Sheldon Lycurgus. In a heartfelt social media post, Zilis wrote,
"After speaking with Elon and on the occasion of our daughter Arcadia’s birthday, I feel it is the right time to introduce our son, Sheldon Lycurgus, to the world."
She further described Sheldon as "a magician at heart with a golden soul." Expressing her deep love for him, she shared the post, to which Musk responded with a heart emoji.
Musk’s Growing Family
Reports indicate that Shivon Zilis and Elon Musk had previously welcomed their twin children, Strider and Azure, in 2021 through IVF.
Musk has a history of revealing his children's names months or even years after their birth. In 2024, he disclosed the birth of his third child, Arcadia, several months after she was born.
Elon Musk’s Other Children
Elon Musk has a total of 14 children from multiple relationships. His first marriage was with author Justine Wilson, with whom he had five children:
- Twins: Griffin and Vivian
- Triplets: Kai, Saxon, and Damian
Sadly, their firstborn child, Nevada, passed away at just 10 weeks old due to health complications.
In 2020, Musk had three more children with singer Grimes through surrogacy. Now, with the birth of Sheldon Lycurgus, Musk has officially become a father to 14 children.
