Gupt Navratri: Do not make these mistakes during Gupt Navratri, otherwise your spiritual practice may be disrupted..

This year, Magh Gupt Navratri will begin on January 19th and continue until January 28th. The rituals of Gupt Navratri are primarily performed by practitioners of Tantra or Aghoris.

However, ordinary people can also attain happiness, prosperity, and good health by performing the rituals of Goddess Durga during this period. You will only receive the full benefits of Gupt Navratri worship if you follow these rules. Let's learn more about them.

This is the most important rule:
As the name suggests, Gupt Navratri (Secret Navratri) is a practice performed in secret. Therefore, the most important rule of Gupt Navratri is 'confidentiality'. Do not tell anyone about your worship, mantras, or resolutions. It is believed that if it is performed publicly, the worship becomes fruitless.

Also, if you have lit an Akhand Jyoti (eternal flame) in your home during Gupt Navratri, never leave the house empty and take complete care to maintain the purity of the flame.

Avoid these mistakes:
The worshipper receives the full benefits of the worship performed during Gupt Navratri only when they are pure in body, mind, and thoughts. Therefore, the worshipper should take care of the cleanliness of both their body and mind. After bathing in the morning, wear clean clothes and clean the place of worship. Also, do not harbor any evil or negative thoughts during the worship. Insulting anyone, lying, or getting angry is forbidden during this practice.

Stay away from these things:
During the 9 days of Gupt Navratri, the worshipper should completely abstain from non-vegetarian food, alcohol, garlic, onions, etc.  They should also strictly observe the rules of celibacy. Ignoring these rules can anger the Goddess, leading to various problems.
